The “Casa de la Iglesia” building was constructed using pigmented mortar in the same orange tone as the brickwork.
The “Casa de la Iglesia” is a building belonging to the Diocese of Sant Feliu de Llobregat, designed by architects Ramon Andreu and Núria Canyelles. The project was selected for the 11th Brick Architecture Awards (2009–2011), standing out for its innovative use of rustic brick in construction.
For this project, Serra Ciments’ Orange 230 pigment was used to color all the mortar joints, achieving a perfectly homogeneous tone that matches the rustic brick used throughout the building.
