Anti-Crak HD Glass Fiber

It is used to prevent microcracking in mortars and concretes. Its density is very similar to that of concrete, which allows it to be distributed homogeneously throughout the mass. The 600 g water-soluble bag format is specially designed for concrete plants as this is the dosage per m3.

Properties:

  • Fiber length: 3; 6; 9; 12; 18 mm
  • Filament diameter: 14 (µm)
  • Loss on ignition %: 0.55% (ISO 1980: 1980)
  • Humidity: 0.3% max
  • Material: alkali-resistant glass*
  • Specific gravity: 2.68 g/cm3
  • Softening Point: 860°C – 1580°F
  • Electrical conductivity: Very low
  • Chemical resistance: Very high
  • Modulus of elasticity: 72GPa – 10 x 106psi
  • Tensile strength: 1,700 MPa – 250 x 103psi

Advantages:

  • High dispersion: 220 million filaments per kg (100 million per lb)
  • Excellent workability
  • Invisible on the finished surface
  • Will not corrode
  • Crack control and prevention in fresh concrete
  • Overall improvement of durability and mechanical properties of concrete
  • properties of concrete
  • Effective at very low dosages
  • Homogeneous mixing
  • Safe and easy to handle

Dosage:

Fibers can be introduced into a mixing plant or directly into the truck mixer. The recommended dosage is 600 g/m3.
