Pigmented Concrete Paving Project in the Outdoor Areas of the Alhambra.
During the early months of 2021, the pavements surrounding the Alhambra in Granada were rehabilitated and improved. For this project, it was necessary to find a soft concrete hue that harmonized with the color of the stone and the surrounding architecture.
Together with the construction company and the concrete plant, a preliminary color study was conducted to formulate the exact pigment needed to achieve the concrete tone sought by the Alhambra management. A custom pigment was manufactured for this project.
